Especially when it’s a big-ass, malty-sweet version from Lagunitas. Wilco Tango Foxtrot doesn’t disappoint as a self-proclaimed “Malty, Robust, Jobless Recovery Ale.” WTF pours a ruby, ruddy brown with a thick, frothy head. Look for these bombers on shelves in the coming weeks!

It's important, however, to keep in mind a few basic rules of what a good social media strategy should look like.
Be genuine, be engaging, be interesting, and remember to keep things fresh. Many companies are hesitant to adopt the social media movement because of the uncertainty of negative comments or results. The fact is that negative conversation will happen regardless of whether or not you are engaging in social media, so don't hesitate, just jump on the social media bandwagon and engage. 1. When Clients Want Coverage in Your Blog: Social Media Ethical Di. I’m no Chris Brogan, but if you combine the number of people I have access to via this blog and my Twitter stream, it’s fair to suggest that I reach thousands upon thousands of people — including some of the best-connected folks in Social and Mainstream Media. So you might think I’d get a lot of pressure from clients to write about them in my blog, and to tweet about their news. And you’d be right. It certainly does come up, as Tom Foremski recently noted. Where do you draw the line? Keeping in mind that a PR agency’s goal is to promote its clients, I always take the time to thoughtfully evaluate the request. But as regular readers can attest, it is very rare that you see me write a post about a client (unless it is a case study of SHIFT’s work, which is always appropriate!) Honestly I don’t have a hard & fast rule here, my judgment is based on whether y-o-u will get value from the post.
On the other hand, I rarely have a problem tweeting about a client announcement or big media hit. Online Portfolio or Resume? Try Both. February 8th, 2010 · 10 Comments After being critical of the bold, four-color resume of a senior I met during a visit to the University of Kansas, I recently received a toned down resume from him–but it still looked like an Oscar-nominated movie ad in the New York Post. The resume was cluttered with too many type faces and sizes, and featured a 2″ x 3″ photo. My advice: Stick with traditional resumes. Don’t be misguided into thinking that sizzle replaces the “steak” of education and experience. The folks at Microsoft offer excellent free resume templates for basic resumes, job-specific resumes and situation-resumes.
If your creative flair requires more than a one-page standard resume, then develop a quality online portfolio. Chris Spooner of Spoon Graphics provides an excellent review of 10 sites, including my favorite–Carbonmade, which help guide you through the process of building an online portfolio.
