All the chrome, the bars, the rails, the pads, the cables — whenever I see my friend’s RED setup in full gear it always amazes me how he finds his way around the thing. I bought the screen used off ebay and rewired it to a 12v battery pack (also ebay). The screen is mounted on an articulating ball joint from a car GPS unit. I’m using the A/V for the video signal so not as sharp as HDMI but the screen has good resolution. The screen makes focus a lot easier (works better indoors / low glare) and it cuts the camera screen so saves a ton of battery on the camera.
