A Nikon Trade-Up Program? « Nikon Rumors Forum. Niko, I understand what you are saying, and you have made some great points, but Hasselblad is in a different market altogether than Nikon or Canon.

A Nikon Trade-Up Program? « Nikon Rumors Forum

Hasselblad had a trade in program, but took it away a couple of years ago which they took a lot from their dealers, and from their customers. They lost business to Phase One who always has a very aggressive trade-in option, and were forced last month to bring it back. But Hasselblad and Phase both make a high end, high return specialized product offering them the ability to do trades whereas Nikon and Canon are high volume, lower margin commodity type products. Heck, they'd need to invent an entirely new department to handle the workload to resell, or recycle old cameras. A more manageable program would be turning in a Nikon UPC for an ownership loyalty discount. Believe me, I love the idea, and would like to see it.

The PSOC is a place for novice to advanced photographers to be able to exchange ideas, improve their photography, and enjoy relationships with others who share their passion for photography. PSOC is not a competitive club. It is more of a social club with all the members having a common interest – photography. Mission statement “We are a place where members can approach photography with a resolution to reach their creative potential. " Meetings The club has a general meeting once a month, usually on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. unless it falls on a holiday. Each month we have a field trip and an assignment. Photos are projected on a screen and we have an outside expert view the photos and critique them, pointing out why the photo works well or how it could be improved. Refreshments are provided at the beginning of each meeting.
