Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro review. With enough time, even the best products start to feel stale. Take the original Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13: Thanks to a unique hinge that allowed the screen to fold all the way backward, it was the most versatile Windows 8 convertible on the market (and it had lots of competition, too). But as other PC makers started releasing newer Ultrabooks with sharper screens and longer battery life, it became harder and harder to recommend it. In fact, though we made a nod to the original Yoga in our last laptop buyer's guide, we basically told people to wait for a refresh. Turns out, that was wise advice. If you're not familiar with how the Yoga line works, it masquerades as an ordinary thin clamshell laptop, but the lid and display fold back a full 360 degrees to form either a thick tablet, or a stand/kiosk device when only folded partway back.

It is probably given the name Yoga because the machine can adapt and bend into a multiple different variations to suit the user’s needs. The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is powered by an i7 Haswell CPU, with 8GB of RAM, and has 250GB SSD storage. The screen resolution is a delight and displays even the smallest images or print with a distilled clarity, the only minor issue concerns colour which I will comment upon later.
