Chocolate Lasagna Recipe. This is for YOU, the chocolate lover out there who is looking for a chocolate-y treat that is actually quite light! Chocolate Lasagna is a dessert you don’t want to miss! When Ryan told me that this fabulous Chocolate Lasagna ranks up there on his list of favorite desserts of all time, I knew I had to share it with you. Just looking at the layers upon layers of goodness, you can tell it’s going to be worth salivating over! You will begin with the crust which consists of crushed Oreos mixed with a little butter.

You will want to use regular Oreos versus the Double Stuff variety and you’ll need all 36 cookies that come in a typical package of Oreos (minus the 1 or 2 or 3 that you are obligated to sample before crushing them…). After pressing the cookie/butter mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan, you’ll get working on the layers! The first layer is a white layer which consists of cream cheese that you’ve whipped until fluffy, sugar, a little milk, and some Cool Whip. Prep Time: 20mn. Sex in a Pan. Sex in a Pan – crazy name for a dessert, but it’s one of the best desserts you’ll ever have, it’s mostly a pudding dessert with a crunchy pecan bottom crust. Don’t laugh at the name of this dessert! OK, you can laugh, it is funny. I have no idea why it’s called sex in a pan, maybe because it’s so good. I remember a long time ago, before I was married, and used to live on my own, one weekend my friend came over and she introduced me to this dessert.

I had no idea what it was, but she promised me I was going to love it so we made it. We did not come up with the name, that is the name that it was known to her and her mom had been making it for her for as long as she could remember. Oh my God, it was unbelievable. I was in love, I had never had anything like it before. Here’s what the layers look like. I just had to share this wonderful dessert with you. Update: Since I originally wrote this post, I’ve made sex in a pan numerous time since it’s a favorite at my house. Sex in a Pan Author: Jo. Mini Cherry Pies. Ingredients: Directions: One Year Ago: Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Two Years Ago: Lemon Berry Tarts. Out of the Campfire, into the Oven: S'mores Pie. There is just something about a s’more that brings out the kid in me.

The toasted marshmallow, the melted chocolate, the crunch of the graham cracker. You put them together and it’s bliss. We love them so much, we eat them year round, we’ve even grilled marshmallows in our wood burning fireplace, over our gas stove, and made them in the microwave in a pinch. So naturally a s’mores pie would be the next logical step ; ) And it couldnt’ be easier. You could even take more shortcuts and use a pre-made graham cracker crust and use pre-packaged pudding {you’d need 8 snack packs for that} What you’ll need: 1 sleeve of honey graham crackers – 9 crackers 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/3 cup dark brown sugar pinch salt 7 tablespoons unsalted butter – melted 1 large package of chocolate pudding {+ ingredients to make} 8 ounces whipped cream topping 10 ounces marshmallows What to do: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Caramel Tart-Caramel Tarts-Chocolate Tart-Chocolate Tarts-Pasta Frolla. Posted by Grace Massa Langlois on Friday, 8th July 2011 When I finally decided on Lemon Meringue Tarts for the holiday weekend I knew I would have to offer another choice because not everyone in my family is a fan of citrus desserts. It didn’t take me too long to decide on the other option because everyone in my family loves chocolate. I decided immediately to pair the chocolate with luscious caramel. I also wanted to add a few different textures and flavours. I present to you pure indulgence, Chocolate-Caramel Tart – crispy, hazelnut sweet short pastry with four layers of goodness – caramel, toasted hazelnuts, dark and milk chocolate ganache, and milk chocolate glaze. And for the decadent finale, sweetened whipped cream, a drizzling of caramel sauce and a sprinkling of hazelnut praline. I could have stopped with the dark and milk chocolate ganache layer but the chocolate lover in me took over.

Wow! I wish the kids enjoyed the pairing as much as I do. Enjoy your weekend! Comments (57) Mini Pumpkin Pies in a Muffin Tin. I love to bake in muffin tins. This chocolate pudding pie is amazing! It's creamy, has a deep chocolate flavor, and still manages to be a light dessert. After it got all prettied up with some white chocolate lace it was ready to be the perfect pie for my mom's birthday dinner. Since chilled pies can't be decorated with icing like a cake nor baked with pie crust designs I decided to pipe a simple lace design with melted white chocolate. This made the dessert more suitable for a birthday.. not every birthday has to have cake. While the chocolate lace was chilling in the fridge I made the pie crust using Michel Roux's recipe from his book "Pastry Savory and Sweet". For some reason I am currently without a rolling pin.. ..Thank god I have a clean empty wine bottle in a sock monkey cover.

Obviously I had to remove the sock monkey before actually using the wine bottle to roll out the chilled dough. The pudding is made from whole milk, cocoa powder, corn starch, and bittersweet chocolate. Voila! ..Presents! 1 egg 1 tsp sugar 1. OREO® Ribbon Pie recipe. Whoopie Pies. Two pieces of moist chocolate cake with marshmallow icing sandwiched between them = a whoopie pie. My friend Noelle was visiting me this weekend and we had important plans to drink copious amounts of tea, eat dim sum, and visit a show at the art gallery. I hadn't planned on baking anything but that changed after my boyfriend and Noelle watched a show about whoopie pies.

They decided that I needed to make them ...make them right now. Their request/demand was followed by the two of them pretending to eat whoopie pies to show me how good they would be and how happy it would make them. It was pretty convincing. We brewed up a pot of tea and Noelle hung with me in the kitchen while I got baking. Butter, sugar, and egg creamed together, and then flour added to the creamed butter-sugar along with some milk. The batter is a bit thicker than regular cake batter and you scoop tablespoons of it onto parchment paper.

Oh my god these are good. If you haven't tried these yet you should get baking!
