Gingerbread Oreo Blondies

We are sharing Oreo recipes that are perfect for the holiday season! I made Gingerbread Oreo Blondies and Jenny whipped up Candy Cane Oreo Chocolate Chunk Cookies. Both of these festive Oreo treats need to be added to your holiday baking list. They are fun for the kiddos and kiddos at heart-like myself:) Everyone was raving about the Gingerbread Oreos on Twitter so I had to hunt them down. To be honest, I wasn’t blown away. Something magical happened to those Oreos after they came out of the oven. The results were so amazing, I had to give all of the blondies away. Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I feel like I should be baking Thanksgivingy, cinnamony, pumpkiny treats right now. But today just called for some serious chocolate chip cookies. And these were the perfect feel good Sunday sweet. They would have made an even better Friday treat though. Then I could have eaten them over the whole weekend instead of wanting to eat them all in one day. I try to start the week off sweet free you know. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to make these. I mean jumbo chocolate chip cookies… …stuffed with Double Stuf Oreo cookies. Hello… Heaven. My friend Jenny of PickyPalate.com started making these cookies a while ago and I can’t believe I have not baked any before today.

Your basic chocolate chip cookie ingredients all ready to go. Ready to become cookie dough. And now for the star. Just scoop cookie dough and place on top of an Oreo cookie. I used a regular size ice cream scoop. Sandwich the cookie sandwich with another scoop on the bottom. Oreo Balls. Update your google readers! Remember the pumpkin spice balls dipped in chocolate? They are the offspring of these Oreo balls. If you’ve never had Oreo balls before, they can be described as ‘cake-like,’ truffles, or the-best-thing-you’ve-ever-eaten-in-the-entire-world.

Not only do they taste incredible, but they are SO EASY. All you need is a package of Oreos and one block of cream cheese. I use my large food processor for this one, and mix the Oreos into crumbs first. I cut the cream cheese into chunks before adding it. Once the Oreos have warped into crumbs, I add the cream cheese chunks and let the food processor go to town. It creates an Oreo ‘dough.’ This dough is. Oreo Scones. Probably you’re sick of Downton Abbey-inspired recipes.

Oreo Scones

Too bad! Here’s one more. Well, I say it’s Downton Abbey-inspired because it’s scones. But that’s really where the inspiration stops, because then I added Oreos. And Oreos don’t make a lot of appearances in Downton Abbey. I had Oreos leftover, by the way, from the cookies and cream cake disaster from last week, if you’ll recall. What I love about this recipe is that it’s a scone with Oreos, and it tastes just like it. Eat one for breakfast. Bonus friendly warning: don’t stick an Oreo on top of the scone before baking and assuming your scone will turn out SUPER WOW COOL looking. Oreo Scones makes 12-15 scones, depending on size adapted from allrecipes 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 6 tbsp (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, cold and diced 1/2 cup crushed Oreos 3/4 cup sour cream 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 cup melted white chocolate chips 2 tbsp heavy cream.

Oreo Pudding Cookies. This is yet another yummy addition to my pudding cookie collection!

Oreo Pudding Cookies

We had to bring a treat to a get-together earlier this week and I wanted to bring something I hadn’t made before but that I knew would be a hit. My mind instantly went to the pudding cookies. They were SO good! If you want to find the other pudding cookies so far on my blog, you can find them HERE This time, I opened my pudding cupboard and pulled out cookies n’ creme.
