AraabMuzik 's Electronic Dream was bold in sampling well-known tracks by Kaskade and Ian Van Dahl , but this track from the deluxe edition goes one better in squaring off his MPC against one of North America's most ubiquitous mainstream dance songs. Deadmau5 and Kaskade's "I Remember" was a silky smooth anthem with one foot in the Creamfields and the other firmly in the chillout tent; here, Araab pulls out the rug from underneath, replacing the steady pulse with a staggered but steady limp, draining it to a wistful pallor. The original "I Remember" already had one hell of a dreamy breakdown, but in Araab's filter-happy hands those free-falling sections are completely submerged, the queasy heart-in-mouth feeling replaced by an equally queasy seasickness and slushy hi-hats.
