On Monday, we visited Veronika and Sebastian's rental apartment, with its amazing book-lined staircase. Here's what the architect said about how he came up with this stylish space-saving solution. London-based Levitate Architects came up with this ingenious solution to a book storage problem and created a loft-like bedroom nestled under the roof of the top-floor apartment. Here's what Levitate's Tim Sloan had to say about the project: The flat occupies part of the shared top floor of an existing Victorian mansion block.

Our proposal extended the flat into the unused loft space above, creating a new bedroom level and increasing the floor area of the flat by approximately one third. >> AT Europe: London House Tour - Veronika & Sebastian's Rooftop Victorian - This is the original house tour! >> How To: Build Staircase Drawers >> More Staircase Storage - Kristin Hohenadel blogging from rue Vieille du Temple, Paris, France. After an order the customer receives the single elements in number and colour of his choice. He can combine the different parts and playfully stick them together – creating his own carpet. CONTEMPORIST. Pipe Light by Triptyque. Pipe Light is an installation on an abandoned house in São Paulo, Brazil by French-Brazilian architects Triptyque. The project, part of a design show held at the property earlier this year, comprises metal tubing and lamps wrapped around the inside and outside of the building. The installation was commissioned Houssein Jarouche, owner of the adjacent furniture and homeware store Micasa.

My name is Filippa, I live in Denmark with my husband Claus and our three girls Natascha(11), Olivia (8) and Cleo(3) – we have three cats, 5 fish and five chicken that provide us eggs every day. I am a freelance interior stylist with a love for DIY, and ideas for kids, therefore 70 % of my work is all about kids. My blog is called Cirkus, it started as the place where I could show all the amazing things I find, in hope that someone would be interested and get inspired as I do.

I also pin here when I see things I love or need to remember. And once I blogged for the kids magazine Vi forældre, where I had the luck to find a lot of great stuff for kids and Bloesem jewelry was one of them. At the moment I use most of my time at my new project – my webshop – Fabel A (decorations and ideas for birthdays and parties). I have wanted to open a webshop, for the last 12 years, but never found the right angle - as I have now. :) We live in a rather ordinary house north of Copenhagen. Some tidying tips?
