first image dentsu: paint sound sculptures the creative studio dentsu, teamed up with photographer linden gledhill to create this series of paint sculptures using sound vibrations. the series was part of a campaign for canon’s pixma ink printer brand. the photographs and videos begin by wrapping a membrane around a small speaker. ink drops were placed on this membrane and the speaker was turned on. once it began to vibrate the ink begins to jump up and down. high-speed video cameras and still cameras were used to capture this including circling around the sculptures to see them from all angles. experimenting with different sounds and frequencies created the various pieces. http://www.dentsu.com

http://www.shredesign.com/artworks/illustrations-florian-nicolle Amazing Creative Design Artworks by French Artist Florian Nicolle. For More Design photos visit artist website Bio My name is Florian Nicolle aka neo, french 24 years old graphic designer and illustrator. I already have a diploma in Graphic Design, there was a little section devoted to the illustration that i have worked a lot, Which finally took a big place in my work. And in fact, at a very tender age at about 15 years old, I wanted to be in Graphic Design, that is why I have decided to move towards the field “Applied Arts”, where I began to search my own style thanks to my first art teacher, who has greatly helped me on this.
It's almost as if Alexandra Pacula paints what she sees while driving drunk at 100 mph. "My work investigates a world of visual intoxication; it captures moments of enchantment, which are associated with urban nightlife," says the New York-based artist born in Poland. "I am fascinated by the ambiance of the city at night and its seductive qualities. http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/painting-intoxicated-at-100

san francisco's house of falling furniture

first image since 1997, the building sitting at the corner of 6th st. and howard st. in san fransiscio, california has been a sculptural mural. the piece consists of tables, chairs, lamps and even a grandfather clock, all hanging precariously out of the building’s windows. known as ‘defenestration’ (a word meaning to throw out of a window) the sculpture’s various pieces are all fastened to the abandoned building to create the illusion of falling. The pieces was conceived of by local artist brian goggin. http://www.metaphorm.org via fun forever

With a Passion for Skateboarding: Creative Art Sculptures by Haroshi

http://www.designfloat.com/blog/2011/03/10/haroshi-skateboarding-art-sculptures/ Now that’s a sick madness! If you have never heard about Japanese wood sculptor named Haroshi, go get the wind of his most original conceptual art. As a creator of amazingly beautiful wooden sculptures out of old, crashed and broken skateboard decks, Haroshi passed for a man of considerable resourcefulness. His multicolored and meticulously sculpted art pieces simply astound with lifelike affinity, so in whichever way it’s even possible to mistake them for being real! In his works he stacks many layers with all piece elements being connected either in their original form or in shapes to form wooden mosaic, dots, and pixels. After that they’re cut down to size, shaven to get rid of the debris, and afterwards coated with a final glossy finish.
