Don’t you just hate it when you put a quarter in a vending, parking meter, or whatever else, and it doesn’t work? When that happens to me I feel really cheated. I know it’s not worth worrying about because it’s just a quarter … but it was my quarter. Why should the vending machine company, parking meter people, or whoever else, get my quarter without giving me the service I paid for? It wouldn’t be so bad if every once in a while the vending machine company, parking meter people, or whoever else, gave away some free chocolate bars, free parking, or whatever else, and said sorry, we feel guilty for taking your money and giving nothing in return at times, so here we are to pay you back.
