Kaibashira Lace over 11 sts and 12 rnds. Spin: Blackrose. Socks CO 60[64, 68, 72] stitches, placing 30[32, 34, 36] on each side of your magic loop. Your first side is the front of the sock, and your second side is the back/underside of the sock. Join for working in round. Ribbing round: [K2, p2] to end. Work 10 Ribbing rounds in total. Breeze, no cuff socks, lace. Fall 2006 - cablenet. Cuff CO 62[72,80,90,98] sts, dividing sts between 4 needles as follows: Needle 1: 18[18,18,18,27] sts. Summer 2006 - RPM. Leg Loosely CO 54[63] sts, and distribute the sts between needles as follows: Size M: 27 sts on each needle Size L: 31 on Needle 1, 32 sts on Needle 2.

To make a women’s medium/large, get looser gauge. Magic Loop: Vortical was knitted using the Magic Loop technique with one long circular needle. Magic Loop instructions can be found here. Knitter's Review: Semi-Solid Yarns and Jane's Hedgerow Socks

The more striking the color combinations, the more they tend to obscure any stitch patterning you wanted to use. Lace, ribbing, openwork, it all gets hidden behind the swirling flashes of color. A few hand-dyers have been experimenting with more subtle colorways involving one main hue. Semisolids let you do more—lace, cables, ribbings, and stunning Fair Isle and intarsia—while still giving you the satisfaction of working with an ever-changing yarn. Diagonal Rib Socks - Free Patterns. Baroque. Cuff CO 72 [80, 88] sts.

Baroque

Divide evenly across 3 or 4 needles and join to begin working in the round. Work rounds 1-4 of Rib St twice, then work rounds 1 & 2 of Rib St once more. 10 rounds total. Leg Choose the appropriate version of chart below for the size you are working. Charts are large and will take an entire page to print. • Small chart • Medium chart • Large chart Work rounds 1-32 of chart twice. Heel Flap The heel flap is worked flat across 37 [41, 45] sts, which may be consolidated onto one needle. Set-up: Transfer the last instep st onto the next needle of the round—the first sole needle. 35 [39, 43] instep sts, 37 [41, 45] sole sts. Hourglass. Cuff CO 68 stitches. Place 34 stitches on each of the two needles, and join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist. Spring 2008 - Froot loop. CUFF CO 63 sts. Divide sts evenly between 3 needles, placing 21 sts on each needle. Join to begin working in the round, being careful not to twist.

Note: If you prefer to work the cuff and heel using 5 needles instead of 4, be sure each needle holds a multiple of 7 sts. Round 1: [K2 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p1, k1 tbl, p1] 9 times. Repeat this round until work measures 1 inch. LEG Work Rounds 1-4 of Froot Loop Pattern 14 times or until leg is desired length to top of heel, ending with Round 4.
