Your wish is our command and today we have managed to put together for you a few of the most popular colour requests. We have decided to use grey as a base colour and provide various options for the accent colour. We figured grey goes with everything, so by doing it this way, the colour combinations we’ve put together will be useful for as many of you keen D.I.Y W-day planners as possible. We are still open to requests, so please feel free to leave us a comment with your particular colour ideas and we will do our best to add to the downloads available on this post in due course, so please check back regularly.

I’ve been featuring so many beauties from this fabulous country recently, I feel very lucky indeed! Well my luck was very much in when Megan & Peiter’s beautiful wedding landed on my lap last week. The wedding was held outdoors at Kleinkaap Pretoria, a boutique hotel in Centurion, Gauteng. “I wanted to do everything!” Megan laughed, “and everything had to have a significant meaning so all my vendors were our families. “The process of creation is so beautiful and I wanted to stuck in all of it,” she continued. Mar 23 I made these cool zigzag streamers for Paul’s birthday last week but I forgot to take photos so I made Moses put on a hat and pose during Roman’s nap time today.
My mom taught me how to make these and they are about the easiest party decor there is. All you need is colored paper and pair of scissors. Really, its that easy. Instructions Below. Step 1: Start with some colored paper in the shape of a rectangle. Step 2: From there measure about 2″ from the first and cut again. Step 3: Turn the paper over and make cuts (but not all the way through) half way between the 2″ sections. The glass Michelle uses to clean her brushes inspired us to paint the insides of these votives for some colorful candlelight.
They couldn’t be easier to make. Pick up a case of glass votives from your nearest floral wholesaler or local Target. Scribble watery paint on the inside of clear glass candleholders and don’t try too hard…if you mess with them too much you’ll just make brown. If you’re having a hard time with this project you may need some more wine to help you loosen up. ;) When they’re dry, plunk in a votive. Done!
