Honestly, does it get any better than customizing a simple handbag with a brilliant floral print? However you create it, it’ll be satisfying to know that you’ve designed yourself a one of a kind bag! You’ll need:a handbagcotton fabric with a large floral patternpainter’s tapeMod Podgecraft paint2 small plastic dishes2 brushesscissors Start by taping off the edges and hardware of the handbag. Squeeze a dollop of colored craft paint into a small disposable container. Apply a layer of paint to the desired section. Allow the first layer to dry completely. While the paint dries, carefully cut out a handful of flowers from the fabric. Arrange them onto the painted section of the bag. Remove the painter’s tape when the Mod Podge has dried clear and your floral handbag is complete!

This section won't concentrate on the muscle structure, since the hand is very complex in this regard, and knowing this won't help much in drawing them. Instead, we'll look at proportions, range of motion, and possible simplifications. Structure and proportions Figure 2.20. Bone structure and proportions of the hand There is a very easy and surprisingly accurate way to remember the proportions of an adult's hand.

The palm of the hand houses the metacarpal bones. The palm of the hand can be simplified to a box. Figure 2.21. Notice that the box does not line up with the contour of the fingers. The two black arrows in the previous figure show how the little finger can move up and down. Figure 2.22. Take a look at some examples of how to use this model: Figure 2.23. The first one is a relaxed pose. This is certainly not the only way to draw a hand. Big Doodle - artwork by Lawrence Yang - StumbleUpon. Big sharpie doodle! 58 Classic Novels In 33 Words Or Less & Clutch Blog. “TL;DR” is internet-speak for “Too long; didn’t read.” You’ll see it used when some passionate nerd writes an exceptionally wordy comment or blog post. If one of your fellow online readers is nice enough, he or she will take the time to skim it and sum up the content in one snarky sentence. You’ll find these few words say essentially the same thing the obsessive author took a dissertation to explain. Since many readers are going back to school soon, we decided to use this technique to sum up the summer reading list you never got around to cracking. (What the hell, right?

Have you ever just had a project idea in your head that didn't exactly fit your style but you fell in love with it anyway? Yeah. That happened to me recently. I don't usually make projects with tons of colors. I'm just not a heavy color person. After a few months of thinking it over, I decided to take the plunge and just go for something colorful. Back in Los Angeles, any old coat rack or a few hooks by the door would do. Most of us would just toss a jacket in the back of the car in the winter months. But here in Vermont we need a little more. Many of the vernacular farm houses I visit have at least a half dozen hooks per person lined up in their mud rooms. My wife and I each will have several different coats, jackets and vests in play all winter long. Add to that assorted scarves, hats and gloves, several of each for both of us, and your average coat rack doesn’t stand a chance.

Materials, for each hanger you'll need: One cleaned or refinished paint can. 2 screws long enough to reach into wall studs. Tools: Long handled screwdriver or screw gun with sufficient extensions to reach bottom of can. Step one: With the handle in a horizontal position, layout and make 2 small mounting holes at the top and bottom of the can within an inch or less of the edge.

Step two: locate and mark stud position on wall for upper screw position. Planting A Pineapple — Tickled Red - StumbleUpon. Did y’all know that you can take this and turn it into… This? Product Name: Sneaker Customization Kit Background research: As summer rapidly approaches, I’m beginning to notice that I need some new sneakers. But I’m starting to realize: either the shoes I like are too expensive or the ones that are affordable, I’m not so crazy about the way they look. Then it dawned on me, what if I were able to create a sneaker that perfectly matched my style & clothes that were already in my closet as opposed of buying a shoe, then having to go buy more things to go with it.

Hypothesis: With the sneaker customization kit, I can create my own personal design to whatever sneaker I choose. The Experiment: I took a pair of sneakers that I barely wore, removed the laces, grabbed a couple of “sneaker preparation wipes,” cleaned off the sneakers, & let my imagination do the rest. Being that I am an artist, I analyzed the whole ordeal way too much, beforehand. Need some new kicks? Allison lehman : show + tell / 30 Day Drawing Challenge.
