Di questo si sono fatte carico molte associazioni nel corso degli anni con diversi corsi, anche gratuiti, indirizzati ad un pubblico più anziano. Il numero di nonni che riescono ad usare internet, infatti, è salito dell’81% negli ultimi 4 anni.
Tuttavia, questi numeri costituiscono ancora una percentuale troppo bassa dell’utenza totale, solo l’8%. L’utilizzo di internet, da parte degli anziani soprattutto, è fondamentale. E in effetti, i dati confermano questa teoria: mentre i più giovani si dedicano ai social network come Facebook, l’utenza principale dei blog è costituita proprio dagli adulti.
