» Sobre prototipos de vivienda. Por Víctor Ebergenyi De las múltiples estructuras que componen una ciudad, la más representativa es la vivienda. Constituye casi un noventa por ciento de las estructuras urbanas y es, por ende, la que en un mayor grado ayuda a configurar la urbe a través de la forma en la que ésta se vincula con el entorno y se relaciona con otros elementos. Ahora bien, partiendo del punto de que dentro del ámbito urbano la vivienda es, por antonomasia, el espacio privado -la ciudad empieza en la puerta de la casa [1]- y que en gran medida ésta repercute en la morfología urbana a partir de su relación con el espacio público, cómo se establezca esta relación público-privado se torna importante para poder llegar a la imagen de ciudad deseada.
El gran interés que siempre ha despertado el tema de la vivienda ha llevado a reflexiones sobre su origen, su morfología, su tipología, su tectónica y su producción. ¿Es posible definir un esquema de vivienda que permita integrar todas las variables?
