Exceptionally motivated students, research affiliates and post-docs with a strong interest in pioneering and advancing bio-inspired fabrication technologies in construction scales assigned to specific design environments. Strong technical background in one or more of the following disciplines is required: mechanical engineering, materials science, CS/EE, design computation, and synthetic biology. Design projects include but are not limited to multi-axes layered manufacturing, CNC weaving, and robotic construction with biomaterials.
