Even better if it’s from a variety like those from Glenlivet. Recently, the Chivas Brothers decided to launch another premium range of whisky, the Glenlivet Cellar Collection of 1980. Known for a very strong and rather vibrant flavor of fruity ingredients, this collection will have a total of just 500 bottles of the Single malt, with each being priced at £1,000 ($1557), though prices are known to be varied in different markets.
One of the reasons, this lot of whisky will actually stand apart is the kind of oak casks which have been used.
