This article is about a list of top ten fastest cars in the world for the year 2010 - 2011. Hello friends, today I am posting for a new category called Automotive, having a sub-category related to cars. I am writing this post which gives a list of top ten fastest cars in the world for the year 2010-2011. The list goes like this :
Forbes magazine has released its annual Top 10 most expensive production cars list for 2010 placing the ultra-exclusive Koenigsegg Trevita on the number one position due to its 2,21 million USD price tag. With only 3 units to be produced the Koenigsegg Trevita which means 'three whites' in Swedish will feature an unique diamond-colored carbon fiber-weave bodywork and among mechanical and technological highlights it will include a hydraulic lift system, a tire monitoring system, achrono instrument cluster, paddle-shifters and carbon fiber brakes. As far as performance the Koenigsegg Trevita packs a massive 1,018 HP that enables lateral forces of up to 1.5 G and a top speed of 250 mph.
Finding the world’s fastest cars isn’t so easy. We will look at the 10 street legal fastest cars in the world in terms of maximum speed achieved. Due to the economical meltdown, the list did not change much up until the summer of 2011. Manufactures have finally restarted their engines and developed faster cars for the future. Keep Reading…
The Model S, which carries its charger onboard, can be recharged from any 120V, 240V or 480V outlet, with the latter taking only 45 minutes. By recharging their car while they stop for a meal, drivers can go from LA to New York in approximately the same time as a gasoline car. Moreover, the floor-mounted battery pack is designed to be changed out in less time than it takes to fill a gas tank, allowing for the possibility of battery-pack swap stations. The floor-mounted powertrain also results in unparalleled cargo room and versatility, as the volume under the front hood becomes a second trunk. Combining that with a four-bar linkage hatchback rear trunk and flat folding rear seats, the Model S can accommodate a 50-inch television, mountain bike *and* surfboard simultaneously. This packaging efficiency gives the Model S more trunk space than any other sedan on the market and more than most SUVs.
By admin on Tuesday, March 16th, 2010 | 1 Comment 1. SSC Ultimate Aero: This car is number one for 10 top list Fastest Cars In The World. 257 mph. 0-60 in 2.7 secs.
When was this written and who is the half-wit repsonsible? Looking beyond the glaring fact that they ignored the several dozen or so cars that cost over $750K: the SSC is no longer the fastest car in the world (Bugatti reclaimed the title with the Veyron Super Sport nearly two years ago), Formula 1 cars have not had traction control since 1993 and launch control was banned in 2006, so they're wrong about that too. And I promise you that not a single one of these cars could keep pace on a race track with even the slowest of F1 cars from 20 years ago. There's a lot overlooked here, From Ferrari, to Hennesy to Pagani and even Porsche. I mean, the McLaren F1 cost $1million when it was new in the early 90's.
Model years for exotics can be hard to pin down. When you're only making a couple hundred -- or maybe only a couple dozen -- cars a year, you can start and stop as you please, without thought for a proper model year. But these are the exotic cars we'll see on the streets in 2011, with any luck.
