Images are collected from multiple photo services including yFrog, TwitPic, Instagram and of course, Twitter itself for all tweets sent after January 1st, 2010. User galleries will appear on your user profile and will display up to 100 of your most recent images in your Tweets, in chronological order.

Do's and Dont's of Making Awesome Diagrams for Slides

http://lifehacker.com/5821548/dos-and-donts-of-making-awesome-diagrams-for-slides By following just a few simple rules, anyone can create diagrams and illustrate information more clearly in slide presentations. Enrique Garcia Cota shared some essential guidelines for things like choosing font size, shapes, color, and more. Although Cota, a.k.a. otikik , is not a designer, the tips he offers in his presentation maintain classic design principles, such as varying shape sizes for emphasis and to establish hierarchy. His tips are also designed for the audience in mind—those in the back of a room staring at a projector. transformer vos photos en diaporama vidéo sur youtube avec Pummelvision

Thus far, we’ve looked at methods of optimizing the quality of single images in a Web gallery and identified strategies for recording, assembling and posting audio slideshows using Soundslides. As camera manufacturers continue to introduce new, video-enabled still camera’s which add full HD-video capabilities to a tool you’re already accustomed to using, photographers are excited to experiment with, and incorporate digital video into their still shooting.

Museum Strategy: Your Monumenta on Tumblr

http://www.museumstrategyblog.com/museum_strategies/2011/05/your-monumenta-on-tumblr.html We have posted several times on Monumenta, the contemporary art exhibition currently showing Anish Kapoor's widely praised Leviathan. While there is being a lot of national and international coverage on the piece, incidentally dedicated to jailed Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, it was felt that Monumenta's visitors also needed to have a place where they could share their impressions and sensations on a piece which dimensions and gigantism place it out of the usual spectrum of even massive contemporary art. For Monumenta, we have created a Tumblr page that acts as a personal album, both visual and based on sensations and emotions of how people felt "their" Monumenta 2011 and "their" Leviathan. Check it our and if you are a Parisian even by means of travelling there for a few days, visit Monumenta an let us know how it made you feel, smaller or bigger.

Below are my 4 favorite web 2.0 tools that use photos. Each of these could be used for projects. They are listed from easy to more difficult. Teaching mood Poetry readings

i 1 Votes One of a Kind in the World Museum In 2005, Joe Weiss released Soundslides, a killer audio slideshow production program that helped transition many newspaper photojournalists into the world of online multimedia. Audio slideshows soon flooded newspaper websites. Its simple interface and even simpler learning curve proved a perfect match for anyone wanting to add an audio narrative to their online picture stories.

Projeqt

Projeqt is a new (beta) site for creating nice visual presentations. After giving it a try I must say that it is very user friendly w/ a drag and drop interface, but a bit slow on execution. I uploaded some photos but was having trouble w/ video. What makes Projeqt very appealing is the number of ways a person can share their finished product.

Digital Photos and Photo Tools | Stepping Stones

With digital cameras so reasonably priced and a digital camera in nearly every cell phone, it’s becoming more reasonable to include student-generated images into your teaching/learning plans. Capturing, editing, producing, and mashing up images can be a great way to engage students – and, depending on the way you set it up, an intriguing performance of understanding. With that in mind, here are a few free, online photo tools and resources to add into the mix: Flickr : Of course.
