Greplin personal social search
Google certainly has the best search algorithm and provides the best results over the domain it searches. I've added a few other searches that are just a bit different, for instance greplin searches within your own private social media data, which google does not have access to. e.g. it will search all your facebook messges, your delicious bookmarks, linkedin posts, twitter posts, google mail, dropbox, and lots more. Its a personal data search. It was created by an ex google guy... Perhaps google will buy them. The internet archive also does a kind of search google does not provide. It search in the past - so you can look at what web pages of different companies used to look like 5, 10, 15 years ago. Its a useful research tool if you are looking at what has changed. Sometimes also if you know you want a specifc kind og result, its better to go to an aggregator for just that, like wikipedia or howstuffworks as long as you are reasonably confident in the quality and breadth of content. by Sep 19
