Artist Bio: Chelsea Greene Lewyta is a freelance illustrator and gallery artist living in New York City. She recently graduated from The Pratt Institute in May 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Communications Design, Emphasis in Illustration. While at Pratt she also studied painting, silk screening, lithography, paper and book making.Since graduation Chelsea has been in over ten international gallery shows and working hard on her freelance illustration work. James Jean is a Taiwanese-American award winning artist and illustrator living in Los Angeles. He was born in Taiwan but was raised in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey.He was educated at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Upon graduating in 2001, he quickly became an acclaimed cover artist for DC Comics, garnering seven Eisner awards, three consecutive Harvey awards, two gold medals and a silver from the Society of Illustrators of LA, and a gold medal from the Society of Illustrators of NY.
If someone could look into our dreams and paint what they see, I'm sure that would be artist Eric Fortune. Creating beautiful worlds using acrylic on watercolor paper, Fortune has his heroes and heroines jumping off bridges and wading through murky water. Look closely at some of his paintings and you'll even notice something slightly off - sliced body parts. Fortune describes these as "a kind of a metaphor for pain or hardship...manifested physically." In fact, Fortune's mysterious paintings are filled with stories about our relationship within ourselves and between others.

He graduated the Fine Arts Academy in Poznan with specialization in graphics. He is famous for his satirical illustrations that make you wonder about society, politics and all the biggies in life.
Audrey Kawasaki just released some in-progress teaser pics of her preparing for her first solo show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery in NY this coming Saturday. The show title Hajimari means beginning in Japanese, and is a word often used in the introduction of a story. Not only am I in awe at how breathtakingly beautiful her new work is, I love how Audrey has given us an intimate look at her workspace.
