Now they've released a third video, this time for the song 'Ausländer', which sees the band out at sea before stumbling across land inhabited by a native tribe. There's a fair bit of nudity in this one, so we'll go ahead and say it's pretty NSFW.

I’ve listened to Rammstein since I was 8 years old and they mean so much to me.
Waiting 3500 days, or 10 years, for a new album hasn’t been easy and the long wait meant that my expectations were unfairly high to begin with. I’ve had to re-write this review a couple of times simply because I found that it wasn’t easy for me to be impartial. I had to actively focus on what I was hearing without trying to make comparisons with the past.
This is no Mutter or Reise Reise. I will never think that this is as good because those albums are like my holy grail of music. Do I love this album? On the flipside we have great songs. Weit Weg is growing stronger with every listen, eerie and beautiful, Till Lindemann (vocals) and Flake Lorenz (keys) carry this song completely, until the end, where it’s finished off with a short but sweet guitar solo. Unfortunately, there are two songs in the mid section of the album which are truly disappointing. Rammstein’s new album is out now. RAMMSTEIN release new album. Interview available here. - METAL MAL. Rammstein (2019) | Noise Pollution. Rammstein have expertly whet our appetite with visually challenging clips to two tracks from the new album, and today it has been set free to roam wild.
Up front, I don’t speak German, so what follows are my reflections on the music, not the lyrics. That will be done by people smarter than I. It’s been 10 years since the release of Rammstein’s last album “Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da”. As customary, the album has 11 tracks and it is 46 minutes in duration. Deutschland’ (‘Germany’) opens with a catchy synth riff and then the guitars wade in, sleeves rolled up, fixing to create a ruckus. ‘Radio’ – is a killer follow on from the previous track. ‘Zeig Dich’ (‘Show Yourself’) opens with a choir, joined by guitar riffs. ‘Auslander’ (‘Foreigners’) has a synth opening and the guitars had me nodding. ‘Sex’ features a swanky heavy guitar groove and Till positively swaggers. ‘Puppe’ (‘Doll’) opens with simple guitar work which is low on effect, but high on impact. I chose to listen to it three times.
The Return Of Rammstein - Rue Morgue Records. Rammstein have dropped their first new record in almost a decade. Between Carly Rae Jepsen and Slipknot, this new music Friday is one for the history books, and it just keeps getting better. German rock giants Rammstein have just dropped their first new record in almost a decade, Untitled. The band gave fans their first of Untitled, last month with leading single ‘Deutschland.’ The track has already racked up a monolithic 50 million views on YouTube. ‘Deutschland’ was initially met with controversy, attracting criticism for allegedly trivialising the Holocaust.
“With this video, the band has crossed a line,” shared Charlotte Knobloch, a Holocaust survivor and former president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany. Whilst Felix Klein, the government’s commissioner for anti-semitism, labelled the video “a tasteless exploitation of artistic freedom. Rammstein – Self-titled new album | Blog | Scene Point Blank | Music webzine | Reviews, features & news. Rammstein – Self-titled new album The release of the yet untitled upcoming seventh studio album by the entity that heralded the dawn of what has been classified as “German Neue Deutsche Härte”, i.e. Rammstein, is upon us. My personal relationship with the individual constituents of a band that has conquered this earthround multiple times over, dates back to the late eighties when excursions to Hungary exposed me to punks from the GDR, who traded tapes of such obscure bands like Sandow and Feeling B and other outfits like Zwitschermaschine and Schleimkeim.
The fact that the roots of Rammstein can be traced back to underground punk bands has always added an additional dimension and credibility, especially once Rammstein became mainstream darlings with their Depeche Mode cover version and eventually conquered the new world with their David Llynch collaboration and their hyperbolic Teutonic antics. Thesoundcheck. ALBUM: -untitled- // ARTIST: Rammstein The year was 2009; Barack Obama was inaugurated as president of the United States, Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift onstage and German rockers Rammstein released their critically acclaimed (and temporarily censored) sixth studio album 'Liebe ist für alle da'.
Fast-forward ten years and a hell of a lot has changed in the world of presidents and popstars, but for close to a decade we have been deprived of any new Rammstein material - a fact about to be rectified by the impending untitled seventh album due out this Friday from the German lords of industrial dance metal. For a band who sparked the coining of an entirely new genre (Neue Deutsche Härte, a tasty little brew of industrial, electronic and metal), Rammstein have decidedly courted creativity and controversy since their inception in the mid 1990s.
Out of the emotional wreckage gone by comes 'Was Ich Liebe', an ambling, gloomy anthem that softly evolves into the simplistically sublime 'Diamant'. Rammstein: (untitled) | Album Reviews. A well-constructed and craftily executed sonic excursion Rammstein does not do things by halves. In fact, their modus operandi both musically and in live performance has set benchmarks for bombastic uses of everything from confrontational props and costumes to spectacular pyrotechnics unleashed in blistering heat. Naturally, with ten years since their last album release Liebe ist für alle da, the latest and seventh studio album, Untitled, has already courted some controversy with the typically provocative yet historically based video accompanying the first single ‘Deutschland’.
The album as a whole has the overall feel of the recently released single with hammering rhythm figures, signature proximity effect vocals in German dialect and floating electronica based melodies. The third track ‘Zeig dich’ offers up some superbly heavy material. Almost predicably, ‘Sex’ is not the soundtrack to a candlelit romantic occasion. By contrast, ‘Weit weg’ is probably the album highlight. Australian Charts: Conrad Sewell lands no 1 album with Life. Three years and eleven months since he first hit No.1 with “Start Again” (22nd of June, 2015) local singer Conrad Sewell sees his debut album “LIFE” enter at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week. “LIFE” becomes the 848th No.1 Album in Australia (1965 to 2018), the 699th for ARIA (1983 to 2019), the 488th to debut at No.1 (1976 to 2019), the tenth No.1 album for 2019 (second by a solo Aussie male, Dean Lewis was the other at the start of April) and for the Sony Australian record label it’s their 24th No.1 album and first since Anthony Callea’s “ARIA No.1 Hits in Symphony” (18th-Sept, 2017).
This is now the tenth album to feature the word ‘Life’ in its title, the last was the Pau Kelly set “Life is Fine” (1 week on 21st of August, 2017), but the first time that the word has appeared solo (with no other words that is). StackPath. Rammstein: Track by Track. 1. ‘Deutschland (Germany)’ I’ll admit that I was feeling a little uncertain as to what to expect from a new Rammstein album after ten years. Within the opening moments of ‘Deutschland’ I was relieved to hear that not a damn thing has changed.
Perhaps I was even a little embarrassed to suspect that this would be anything but the Rammstein we know. Flake’s unmistakable synths followed by bellowing guitars - you can instantly picture this intro being played in arenas, no doubt accompanied by some elaborate pyrotechnics. Till’s signature vocal delivery over a driving drum beat tells of the band’s love/hate relationship with their motherland and its troubled history. 2. Right out the gate ‘Radio’ opens with a classic Rammstein riff that could have been lifted directly from their early work (Herzeleid or Sehnsucht). 3. ‘Zeig Dich’ opens with a theatrical choral chants and builds into it's opening riff, delivered with a sense of urgency. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. Rammstein lands a decade since 2009’s Liebe ist für alle da. Given their immense popularity from a host of massive hits over the last twenty-ish years since their subgenre-defining debut album Herzelied , it feels like they never left.
Rammstein is a wild ride through the strange landscape of Rammstein’s characteristically unpredictable-yet-iconic sound. With any Rammstein material, language and lyrics are essential to understanding how their insidiously dark sense of humour interrogates social and political issues.
