Edible Cookie Dough for One - Food by Marry Anne. Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake Bars. Helloooo people! Today I’m looking out for ya! Honest. …A giver, a people pleaser, an all around go-to girl, that’s what I am. The thing is, I hear you need fruit in your diet. Health is important. So today two fruits for the price of one. See? Plus there’s dairy and fiber: cheesecake and shortbread. A people pleaser!!!

OR, I suppose you could say I’m a saboteur. Because, honestly I’m trying to sell you cheesecake bars as a well rounded meal. But I’m pretty much sure that might make me the coolest mean girl ever. You say tomato. Strawberry Lemon Cheesecake Bars. Complete daily sustenance. The crust is yummy shortbread… and I actually used my pastry cutter…I knew I bought that thing for a reason! It’ll be super crumbly and dry. Press it into the pan and bake it until the edges are beginning to golden up. When the crust is partially cooked, pull it out and spread on some Strawberry preserves.

How pretty is that? Then pour the lemon cream cheese mixture on top of that. While it’s baking clean up. Notes. Coffee Custard Tart. Author Notes: I made a thin, crisp shortbread crust flavored with concentrated coffee, whole wheat pastry flour, and turbinado sugar and filled it with a barely sweet, egg-rich, coffee scented custard. Since there are only two tablespoons of sugar in the custard, I think it might be equally nice for dessert or as part of a brunch. - ALittleZaftig (less)Author Notes: I made a thin, crisp shortbread crust flavored with concentrated coffee, whole wheat pastry flour, and turbinado sugar and filled it with a barely swee (…more) - ALittleZaftig Food52 Review: Back in the days before I could afford an apartment with air conditioning and the summer temperatures in Boston sweltered for days on end, I had to take my morning coffee iced, with lots of cream, just to make it through getting dressed for work without wilting.

This tart brings me back, sans the sweat dripping down my back, thank God. The concentrated coffee holds its own well against the barely sweet creamy custard. Makes one 9" tart. Easter Egg Golden Oreo Truffles. These 4-Ingredient Easter Egg (Golden) Oreo Truffles recipe is simple, festive, and oh-so-FUN! As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I got a little (ok, a lot) photo-happy with these little Easter Egg Oreo Truffles. So today you’re getting a second post with our second round of truffle decorating using a slightly different filling – Golden Oreos! That’s right! This batch is made with a simple 2-ingredient filling using cream cheese and the super-sweet, goldenlicious, why-didn’t-they-think-of-those-decades-ago cousin of the traditional Oreo. (Which I secretly love more than traditional Oreos — I know.) Oh, and just like yesterday’s batch, these babies only take simple ingredients to make (plus food coloring).

We begin with the rockstar ingredient of this batch: Golden Oreos. Pop them all in a food processor and pulse until blended. Add in cream cheese, and pulse/mash until the mixture is combined and smooth. Then form the mixture into small egg shapes. Have fun with these, friends! Ingredients. Nutella Energy Bites. Introducing a chocolate and hazelnut twist to my favorite no bake energy bites recipe — Nutella Energy Bites! (This post is also sponsored by Skinny Cow.) Trust me. You’re going to want to try this Nutella energy bites pronto.

But first, I want to tell you about the inspiration for this recipe. If you’ve been following along on the blog or on Instagram this summer, I have been doing a series of “missions” with Skinny Cow and their #WoCave campaign. The first mission was to host an in-home cooking class with a professional chef, where we learned how to cook a delicious 7-course tapas meal. The mission? Ballet!!! My second “mission” box from Skinny Cow included all sorts of fun workout gear — including a cute pink bag, pink socks, digital photo frame, a sporting goods store giftcard, and even a water bottle with my name on it!!! That’s right! While this was definitely a new experience, I admit that the world of ballet is definitely not new to me. Ingredients Method.
