In addition, this would allow deaf people to communicate with those who do not know American Sign Language. Speaksie will use a combination of pictures and words to allow the user to form sentences which are subsequently read aloud. This would allow a normally nonverbal person to hold a conversation with anyone around them, even if they are unable to type or read. We are looking to allow our application to be available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Android, and Windows with the ability to be used on a Smart Board also.

We believe Speaksie could be a great addition to hospitals and special education departments in schools, as well as being used by families and individuals. BELOW IS A VERY VERY ROUGH SKETCH.
