Following the successful Kickstarter campaign by Double Fine's Tim Schafer to finance a new adventure game, on March 13th inXile's Brian Fargo kicked off a Wasteland 2 fundraiser. With a week remaining Fargo had already received pledges of more than double his original goal. Seeing the high demand for games where content is more important to players than cutting edge graphics, many other successful game designers of classic games are launching their own Kickstarter projects. Al Lowe plans to remake Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards, Gabriel Knight's Jane Jensen looks to fund a handful of new games, while Jordan Weisman aims to create a new Shadowrun title.
