Floating Yellow Brick Road Connects Islands and Towns Separated by Water

From June 18 to July 3, 2016 (weather permitting), Lake Iseo will be reimagined. 70,000 square meters of shimmering yellow fabric, carried by a modular floating dock system of 200,000 high-density polyethylene cubes, will undulate with the movement of the waves as the Floating Piers rise just above the surface of the water. The Experience Visitors can experience this work of art by walking on it from Sulzano to Monte Isola and to the island of San Paolo, which is framed by The Floating Piers. The mountains surrounding the lake offer a bird’s-eye view of The Floating Piers, exposing unnoticed angles and altering perspectives. Lake Iseo is located 100 kilometers east of Milan and 200 kilometers west of Venice. The Walkway A 3-kilometer-long walkway was created as The Floating Piers extend across the water of Lake Iseo.

Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré Grew Up on the Plains of Namibia

It’s actually an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that two parents blessed their young daughter with. The girl in these pictures is Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré. The French girl was born in 1990 and she spent her childhood in Namibia. Tippi grew up alongside wild animals like cheetahs and lions, and she spent her time hunting with tribespeople instead of playing tag with classmates. Her childhood was stunning: Nowadays, most people would scream “child abuse” if they saw these pictures. But this isn’t abuse… It’s a blessing. Little Tippi got to grow up forming a strong bond with nature, always under watchful eyes. Who else can say they were at one with the creatures in the African wildlife by the time they were 10? The animals and tribespeople accepted Tippi as one of their own. Tippi was a real-life Mowgli from the Jungle Book. It’s hard to believe Disney hasn’t made a movie about this spectacular childhood on the African plains. You hear that, mom? Ross Nanotechnology's NeverWet superhydrophobic spray-on coating.
