BEA. Biowhat? - BEA. Bioresource Engineering is a program given at McGill University's Macdonald Campus, in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, from the freshman level to the ph. D. level. Its undergraduates at the B. Eng. level are elligible to apply at the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, as well as in most professional orders across the world. The discipline of bioresource engineering focuses on optimizing the world's natural resources. Our students specialize in the following fields: Agricultural Engineering The design of machinery components that will shape the future of agriculture The arrival of precision agriculture could improve food yields, create better management practices, and lower the environmental impacts of conventional agriculture.

Bio-environmental engineering The use of engineering principles for on-site land treatment, the handling of organic waste, and for bioenergy production Ecological engineering The design of ecological systems to meet certain human and non-human needs Food and bioprocess engineering.
