January 2013. Yesterday I was so swamped with IM about the Nordan drama that I had to log out.

January 2013

I decided therefore, to post what happened the last days at Nordan. Especially when a friend asked me: "Is William Weaver an asshole? ", I felt it was high time for clarification as far as I can do from my side. It must have been around September when the art world in SL heard good news about the reopening of Nordan Art, which disappeared suddenly and unexpected at the beginning of 2012 and has been missed since then.

Flora Nordenskiold, owner and curator has chosen William Weaver (paperwork Resident) as builder of the new gallery. I met William first in July last year, was immediately hooked by the outstanding quality of his SL photography and was lucky enough to have him as one of the two artists in my very first exhibition as curator at Art India Gallery. But back to the case. At the beginning we discussed as well the function of a gallery in Second Life. Best regards to all, paperwork team" The Future of Entropia Universe. What is Entropia Universe?

The Future of Entropia Universe

It’s what you make of it. You can play it as a gamer, as a job, or as an investor. No matter what your plans, playing Real Cash Economy (RCE) MMOs, such as Entropia Universe, is a long term commitment, so it’s good to know what you’re getting into. Here are some upcoming things to expect soon in EU. While the teams that create new planets, like Planet Cyrene, will be adding new creatures to their worlds, the design team of Planet Calypso plans to redesign all of the existing creatures for better visual quality of the game. Pets will return to the game, perhaps as early as the end of 2012.

A rarity in EU, is the implementation of a new profession. Kim, from MindArk, has revealed that a combat system upgrade is being considered. Something that will make you want to play Entropia Universe from the first look is the new avatars. Piet Hut, Institute of Advanced Studies, Princeton, is right behind with the Genkii team. Jun Makino has offered the use of a server at the observatory to set up an OpenSim environment. History is about to be made. Thanks Genkii for the photos!
