Paperwarfare. Graph Tag. Beautiful Brochures and Booklets. Advertisement In corporate design brochures and booklets are a standard tool for promotion and advertising. They are tiny books or magazines which lay around in conference halls, offices and waiting rooms. Sometimes they contain an annual report of the company or showcase the portfolio of an artist. Brochures can also be included in CDs and DVDs; however, usually they are given away as freebies (e.g. they may contain a calendar or some poster inside).
In either case, booklets serve advertising purposes and since they are usually short (max. 25-30 pages) they need to look good and be informative in order to focus users’ attention and effectively convey the message. Unfortunately, only few brochures are indeed designed with close attention to details. However, there are a number of options for creative and appealing booklet and brochure design. Jolie petite surprise hier puisque nous avons reçu une copie d’un nouveau guide de voyage sur Lyon dans lequel Laspid est mis en avant dans la rubrique shopping. Il s’agit d’un nouveau venu dans la collection des Guides Essentiels des Éditions Nomades. Épuré, cet ouvrage rédigé par une locale, Julie Olagnol, s’intitule « Lyon l’essentiel« . Il sort ce mois-ci en faisant la part belle aux coups de cœur de son auteur avec la présentation de 160 lieux incontournables à Lyon. Après le Lonely Planet, Michelin, le Petit Futé, nous sommes ravis de ce nouveau coup de projecteur sur notre projet. Une mise en lumière qui plus est toujours aussi naturelle puisque pour rappel nous n’achetons ni pubs, ni encarts et que le choix de retenir notre boutique dans ce type d’ouvrages est un choix éditorial et non commercial.
