En AppsMac ya hablamos en su día de dos aplicaciones que hacían esta función, AppZaper y AppDelete . Pues en este caso es una alternativa de los dos programas mencionados. Una vez activado, solo tenemos que borrar una aplicación y automáticamente, AppTrap nos preguntara si queremos llevar también a la papelera los ficheros de configuración de la aplicación en cuestión y claro en el caso de que la aplicación que vayamos a borrar tenga ficheros de configuración, si no AppTrap directamente no preguntara.
Antes que podamos tener operativo un gestor de copias de seguridad como TimeMachine , que estará disponible en Leopard de serie y a partir del próximo Octubre, bueno es saber de otras alternativas para realizar backups de nuestro sistema y carpetas bajo Mac OS X Tiger como SuperDuper, SilverKeeper, Carbon Copy Cloner, Deja Vú, Synk Backup, iBackup o CrashPlan . En esta entrada veremos pues las alternativas que tenemos y sus principales características. Carbon Copy Cloner es gratuito y funciona la mar de bien: permite clonar directamente un disco en otra ubicación, las veces que he tenido que usarlo siempre me ha respondido a la perfección. Mediante él podemos hacer copias de discos enteros con lo que podremos si es el caso generar copias de seguridad de nuestro sistema al completo antes de realizar tareas que puedan ponerlo en peligro para si nos lo cargamos poder restaurarlas. SilverKeeper es otra opción gratuita que revisaron hace tiempo en LifeHacker y que nos sirve perfectamente.

Ocurre con frecuencia que una vez instalado el sistema operativo de forma exitosa se muestra la partición NTFS en el escritorio como un volumen llamado “Untitled” . Hay varias formas de conseguir renombrar la partición, pero si probáis la más obvia (como se renombra cualquier archivo o volumen en el Finder, es decir pulsando Enter) no os funcionará.

Nintendo Gameboy Advance Emulator Boycott Advance was developed to run home brew Gameboy Advance software, and to that end it works quite well. It is also able to run a wide variety of commercial games, although there are some known issues that prevent some titles, particularly newer ones, from working correctly. There are no plans to spend any more effort on compatibility until the Gameboy Advance is no longer on commercial sale; as such, bug reports for this emulator will be ignored at this time.
