They’re much better than a boring slice of toast for dunking into soup and they soak up gravy with gusto. However, the best way to eat them is warm, sliced in half and slathered with good butter.

Spicy Pumpkin Soup Recipe
I love pumpkin soup, don’t you? This recipe is adapted from one featured in Oprah Magazine . The original called for the soup to be served in roasted carved-out sugar pumpkins – a nice touch, but a little overkill for my taste. Helping with the cooking were my young friends Alden and Reilly. We all agreed that the original recipe was a little too spicy, so we added some heavy cream and some brown sugar and it turned out just perfect.This past month has been bewildering for me. It's gone by so fast, and I feel like I've accomplished so little! But I've enjoyed a lot of it, so I should satisfy myself with that.

Spinach Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Earlier on in the week, when I made the spinach, or spanakopita pesto pasta I made sure to keep some of the pesto left over for something new. I had come across the idea of using a pesto in a grilled cheese sandwich and it was the perfect time to try one. I have been experimenting with grilled cheese sandwiches for a while now. It all started when I first tried adding some jam to one then I moved on to chutneys and now it was time to try a pesto grilled cheese sandwich. Since the spinach pesto had some Greek flavours going on I decided to use a Greek cheese, graviera, in the sandwich. The spinach pesto sandwich with graviera was amazing!Easy Parmesan Knots
This recipe will got great with the Mama Mia’s Minestrone from yesterday or any other great Italian meal. It is a recipe that I adapted from one I found in an issue of Simple and Delicious. These are easy to make because they start off with a can of refrigerated biscuit dough.A hearty lentil salad that's so packed with vegetables it might even be called the 'Great Big Vegetable Salad with a Few Lentils Thrown In Just for Fun'. Great crunch. No mayonnaise so perfect for picnics and outdoor meals. Low carb.
