Brechtnieuws. Serge On The Rocks. Work. Simon Spruyt. SGF - A shortcut to success (Zone 5300, fall 2006) Simon Spruyt studied comic art at the Saint Luc in Brussels, and graduated in 2005. He makes cartoons for the Brussels city magazine Zone 02 under the pseudonym Zlatan Magazurski. His comics have appeared in comic magazines like Demo, Ink, Myx and Zone 5300. Together with writer Fritz van den Heuvel, he began his award-winning royal parody 'De Bamburgers' for published by Dutch publisher Silvester in 2006.
De Furox In 2007-08 Bries published Spruyt's solo project, the diptych 'De Furox', a fictional story about a dragon set in the historical context of the arrising nazi regime in 1933. In 2010 he published 'In Rozen' about the history of the Flemish socialists. De Bamburgers. C | Where the buffalo roams.
