What is your favourite TED talk? by cassiusFeb 17, 2010
All of them are interesting ;) by kamaFeb 17, 2010
I agree, most of them are interesting. The one that popped first into my head was Benjamin Zander's talk on passion. by kmaackFeb 17, 2010
had not seen B. Zander's talk yet: very good! Made me think of Ben Dunlap's talk. The kind of talk that got me hooked to TED is the one by Pranav Mistry. by cassiusFeb 19, 2010
I'm not sure all of them are interesting, even though I only watched a few until now. The thing is, TED talks are about so many subjects that it will enlight you with some ideas you wouldn't think of, or some you already had but not the same way. One I liked a lot was from the creator of Lost, can't remember his name, the talk was about the magic box, and I didn't really get the point of it until the end. by failxFeb 19, 2010
My favorite was the one by Jonathan Haidt on his studies on moral psychology. What I like most was the call for everyone to realize that everyone has beliefs and attitudes that they hold very true and act on them. Maybe rather than fighting and arguing, we could be spending more time trying to understand each other?...Plus he is a secular (which I am), doing empirically studies analyzing non-securalists, while at times supporting them. Who would've thought? :) by colemanFeb 23, 2010
