In the performance boDighas designed for the “Sky Spotting Spot,” installation of the YAP Istanbul Modern: Young Architects Program, states of self-destruction, clinging on to life, and adaptation are conveyed to time and space through choice or obligation. boDig (Beden Odaklı İfadeler Girişimi - body-based arts & new media initiative) is an art initiative based in Istanbul which focuses on new forms of expression for the body in contemporary and digital culture. Its artistic approach draws on many diverse disciplines including dance, performance, plastic art, design, architecture, new media, engineering, and medicine.
Through this multidisciplinary approach, boDig produces reflective and artistic creations around the subject of the body within the contemporary and technological contexts.
