Even assuming the worst (7 year car loan at 7%), he still owes $1400/month for his car. Probably about that much for insurance as well. Mortgage/property taxes on the house in Texas? Probably another $1000/month. Now he's living in hotels (not sleeping in his car), so even figure at the cheapest, flea-bitten hotel he's in (and crashing with friends), it's $20/night. So we've got: 1400 - Loan 1400 - Insurance 1000 - Mortgage/property tax 600 - Hotel 300 - Food 375 - Gas Grand total: $5,075/month for this little excursion.

Either he's a trust fundie, or he's so deep in debt that he's never seeing the light of day anytime soon.
