This little guy was no exception! With his gorgeous skin tone and those long awesome eyelashes, we couldn’t wait to capture this sweet boy! He was super sleepy and flashed us so many smiles. Made our jobs a breeze! This over the shoulder angle is a parent favorite and I love how beautiful it looks in black and white. In our pre-session questionnaire, Mom mentioned she loved lots of gray, cream and blue tones. He posed perfectly for this shot. Her mommy was just the most loving, energetic and happy person we’ve ever met! Even when her sweet gal wasn’t so sure about this whole “photography” thing, mommy just rolled with it and kept it super positive! We appreciate that kind of positivity SO much! At the beginning of their one year cake smash session, mommy picked out a few of her favorites from our gorgeous collection of handmade outfits we have here in the studio. She was LOVING (as was I!) It’s so funny because even when babies come to see us and aren’t too sure about being photographed, parents might worry about not getting any shots during their photo session.

When mom and dad reached out to us for a last minute session and we happened to have one available the next day, AND they happened to live within walking distance from us, their Los Angeles newborn baby photography session with us was clearly meant to be! We immediately hit it off with this awesome couple, and could have hung out and chatted with them for hours. We always say that one of the best parts of our jobs as newborn photographers, is meeting such cool and fun couples like them. When they walked through our doors the morning of their newborn photo session, I could see they needed a little TLC and rest. That first week home with newborn baby is a trying one- sleep deprivation has set in, mommy is still healing, daddy is running around just trying to do his best to get everything right, and getting into a rhythm for feeding, changing diapers and caring for baby takes some getting used to.

After newborn photo sessions, we offer a “Sitting Up” milestone session to capture babies from about six to eight months old. This is such a wonderful time to do a photo shoot! In fact, it is one of our favorite sessions to photograph. Babies are sitting up by themselves, yet still not able to crawl or walk off set! Stranger anxiety has usually not set in by this age, and most babies are happy to give adorable expressions. Mommy first contacted us when her sweet girl was about three months old. We had the pleasure of capturing this sweet little guy and his adoring parents in our Burbank newborn photography studio! Matt and I just loved meeting this young, gorgeous couple who only recently moved to Los Angeles! During the whole session, we all had so much fun together- Daddy is super funny (and even has his own hilarious You Tube channel for kids!) And mommy is a Disney princess- yup, she’s gorgeous! It is never to early to get on our newborn session schedule! Most clients book with us in the second or third trimester of their pregnancy. We only accept a limited amount of newborns each month to account for the extra wiggle room we need in our calendar to accomodate each baby's arrival. Generally, we are booked for newborn sessions 4-6 weeks in advance. How soon will my newborn session take place after birth? Infant Photography Los Angeles. Nothing gives us more artistic satification than capturing images of your sweet newborn. We thrive on creating a work of art where your brand new baby is the purest of subjects.
It truly drives us during each and every session to capture your baby in the most beautiful light and the most luxurious, organic inspired set ups. We notice and take time for the details.....perfectly placing every tiny finger into place, gently shifting baby's chin every so slightly for the most flattering angles, adjusting padding under baby's head for the best position to the light, extra smooth and artistic swaddle wraps for a polished look.
