Why I keep getting invited to parties « the would-be writers guild. I make AMAZING punch. There, I said it. I’m the Punch Master. Queen of Punch. Snoop Punch. David Punchuleta. I invented one very special recipe that I’m about to share with you. Whereas I had to create, puzzle, reflect, and ponder the recipe in the first place in my special Punch Laboratory. But now that I’ve arrived at Punch Perfectdom, it’s hard for me to contain it and keep it to myself. OK, are you ready? The Punch Ingredients: 1 can frozen pina colada concentrate, thawed (Bacardi makes a good one) 1 can frozen orange pineapple juice concentrate, thawed 4 liters of diet lemon-lime soda (That’s two 2-Liters for the mathematically challenged.) 1 bag of pebble ice (You can buy it at Sonic Drive-In or at most grocery stores in the deli or meat departments.) 1 bag of frozen raspberries And now for the directions: *Pour the thawed concentrates into your punchbowl and stir. Happy St. Patty’s Day to you! So this won’t be the longest post I’ve ever written, or the most Irish (aside from the fact that I really am 25% Irish) for that matter, but I wanted you to know that I’m here (bearing sprinkly booze), and I’m back in action. Over the past few months I’ve been working on some projects that are sort of behind-the-scenes (and I hope to soon share), and it’s meant less frequent blog posts, so thanks for being patient with me.

I’m happy to say that I’m almost caught up and ready for a new phase! I wanted to share this boozy delight with you to get the weekend off to the right start, because it’s just too much fun not to. Remember I mentioned in my last post, that some girlfriends and I had some fun with Birthday Cake Shots a recent birthday get-together? Even though I’m not a frequent alcohol drinker, discovering cake flavoured vodka has been a pretty life-changing experience. Too.
