Room on the Roof by i29

Situated in a small tower in the historic heart of Amsterdam, the department store aimed to reimagine the studio to create a unique experience. This became the starting point for i29 interior architects, who have designed an installation that brings two worlds together in one called 'Room on the Roof'. Stairs. Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten. Model studies European Harbour Bremen Bremen’s European Harbour is a former customs and border district close to the old centre of the Hanse town.

Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten

It was once both the central business area and a terra incognita. The old dockyards from the 19th century lost their function and importance due to the shift towards container shipment and the establishment of modern container terminals outside of Bremen. The old and disused dockyards close to the urban centre are now being converted into areas for residential, retail and office development thus reintegrating the area into the public and social life of the city. Around the former harbour basin new and generous open public spaces are being created linking Bremen’s European Harbour to the city centre.

Promenade, square and park are linked at the same time by visual axes and a coherent material strategy. The promenade is organised on two levels along the harbour basin and allows for unconditioned movement and informal encounters. Hans Findling. Eindrucksvolle Fotokunst eines 15-jährigen Schülers aus Konstanz.

Hans Findling

All images © Hans Findling. Unbelievable and Incredible Staircase…!! Sometimes architects can get a bit carried away. These staircase designs are truly incredible and truly fabulous….!!

Some of these have been taken from designer / architecture websites and most of them are unimaginable in the normal thinking. It seems, some might be impossible to climb or taken care of. let us know which one is the most incredible in terms of design and aesthetics or if you have any picture which can be a part of this post we will be glad to share it with readers. Post your images in comments and we will display them here with your name. [ad1] [ad2] Ads by Google.
