Since finding it, similar bits and pieces of old technology and media kept grabbing his attention. His fascination was equal parts nostalgia for the forms, and curiosity as to what had become of them. Golden went on the hunt for media and key pieces of technology, most of which have now been downsized to fit in the palm of our hand. If you look closely, you’ll find some of them moving. A vincere il concorso è stata Christina Rinaldi, un’artista che si occupa normalmente di decorazioni di unghie, con questa GIF di un pulitore di vetrine. Il concorso di Saatchi è durato 10 settimane, durante le quali chiunque poteva presentare una GIF per competere in una delle sei categorie possibili: Panorama, Lifestyle, Azione, Notturna, Persone e Città; a scegliere i vincitori di ogni categoria e il vincitore assoluto tra le oltre 4000 opere presentate è stata una giuria composta da diversi artisti, fotografi e registi.
