Click here for a virtual tour of Queen’s College. Visiting St John's - St John's College Oxford. Visiting St John's Members of the public are welcome to visit St John's College (to see Front Quad, Canterbury Quad, the Garden, the Chapel, and Kendrew Quad) from 1pm to 5pm daily, or until dusk in the winter. Entry is through the main Lodge on the east side of St Giles, or (for the Kendrew Quad) through the Kendrew Lodge some 200 metres north. Please note that tour groups of more than 14 people must make prior arrangements with the College Lodge: +44 (0)1865 277300.

Holders of an Oxford Alumni Card may visit St John's College free of charge with up to three guests, at any time during daylight hours. Please present your Alumni Card to the lodge porter on arrival. The College is closed to visitors on Christmas and Boxing Day. Very occasionally, parts of College are closed off because of events or for safety reasons. Opening Times and Prices | Christ Church, Oxford. Christ Church is both Oxford University's largest College and the Cathedral Church for the Anglican Diocese of Oxford. Visitors are welcomed throughout the year to enjoy Christ Church's beauty and fascinating history. However, please note that Christ Church is a working academic and religious institution and some areas, including the Hall and the Cathedral, may close, occasionally without notice. The Hall IS OFTEN CLOSED BETWEEN 11:40 AM AND 2:30PM. The Cathedral closes for choir practice every day at 4:45 p.m.The Hall and the Cathedral opening hours for the week Monday 14th April 2014 are detailed BELOW.

The Custodian at the gate will also be pleased to advise you about the best time to enjoy your visit to Christ Church.
