BEST DAMN WRX DOWNPIPE UPPIPE install cobb stage 2

Make sure you have sprayed PB blaster or equivalent to loosen those bolts. 1) There are turbo heat shield is held in place by 7 or 8 10mm bolts. You just gotta find them until it comes off. 2) Now you can see the turbo and downpipe. 3) 14mm bolts/nuts x 5 hold the DP to turbo....you need lots of PB blaster. Here's another view from under the car 4) Now you have to release the DP from the rest of the exhaust and hangers. 5) 14mm bolt holds the DP to the bracket on the transmission, and another 14mm bolt that attaches the DP to the J-hanger further back (see pic). 6) You have to remove spring loaded 12mm bolts x 2 that connect the end of downpipe to cat-back exhaust. 7) Now, all of the connections to the downpipe are free, and the DP is hanging from the J-hook bracket next to the transmission.

So very wrong. You see, this time last year it appeared that every major performance tire manufacturer had recently revamped their top-shelf, ultra-high-performance tire model. So when we compared them for our annual street tire shootout, we figured we’d have a couple years off before doing it again—especially when we did a follow-up test to include a couple of late additions. Bzzzt! Incorrect! Since that time, two major new entries in the UHP category have been introduced: the Hankook Ventus R-S3 and the Falken Azenis RT-615K. All test tires arrived shaved to 3/32 inch and were expertly mounted on identical wheels by our good friends at SoulSpeed Performance of Austin, Texas. Each tire was delivered in a 205/50R15 size, with the exception of the Hankook—the only currently available 15-inch size is the slightly wider 225/45R15. I'm stage 4 Cobb, hi-flow catted, protuned at Epic Motorsports, never forced readiness, never discussed it until a year later, when I needed an inspection LOL.

I had a similar problem. I thought that out of 7 that I had, the one for Catalyst would never set. I thought the defeat of some of the codes in the ECU would prevent the readiness tests from working properly. I was worried about it. I was wrong. I usually need to reset my ecu about once every 2 months because of the ACT LWFW causing false misfires (always some cyl and the random 0300 code). It took 272 miles and 8 cold starts to reset all of the readiness monitors.

I want to lay out my current plan, and make sure that it will work properly with the Cobb stg2 map, without a pro-tune. long-term i want to go from stg2 to ~250 to 275 whp, or which i understand is a safe power level for a stock clutch/tranny. I want to keep the 1 cat after the DP. Emissions are not an issue, but i would like to keep the noise down, and not be a total dick about poluting with a DD.
