did you all have a good weekend? we pretty much got snowed in so during nap time I thought i'd scratch this little diy off my to-do list... This was the inspiration for this diy. i've had it pinned on pinterest for an eternity. so when I came across $3 sweatshirts at wal-mart the other day i felt like it was just meant to be. i resisted grabbing more than two (i am so bad when it comes to good deals) brought them home and gave them both a good wash and dry. the other one is white and i already have something in mind for it...
When H&M asked us to DIY a boho-inspired item for their summer issue, découpage was the first thing that came to mind. Honestly, does it get any better than customizing a simple handbag with a brilliant floral print? However you create it, it’ll be satisfying to know that you’ve designed yourself a one of a kind bag! You’ll need: a handbag cotton fabric with a large floral pattern painter’s tape Mod Podge craft paint 2 small plastic dishes 2 brushes scissors Start by taping off the edges and hardware of the handbag.

After the bride and groom make their happy departure, let the guests mingle and roast marshmallows. If your venue does not have firepits, you could also use little gas camp stoves on every table. Materials :
Erica from Thoughtful Day sent us a link to this sweet couple on their wedding day. The big flowers are so excellent, aren’t they? Brittany wanted to bring some of the magical imagery from Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen (where they had their first date) and the fantasy of Hans Christian Andersen fairytales into their wedding decor, i.e. big, quirky signs and magnificent, oversized florals (because Brittany LOVES all things floral). The flowers are completely amazing. Brittany is wearing her mom’s dress . So cute!

Apr 10 Here is a little fun party garland made out of my favorite material: crepe paper. I was playing around with it for a different project and loved how these looked like kind of like candy, or else like little polka dots or beads.
