La profesora Hortensia Jiménez Díaz, quien labora para el Campus Central de Veracruz, explica que el proceso para publicar su trabajo en la plataforma TED-Ed implicó la elaboración y envío de una propuesta de tema, el desarrollo de un guión que considerara la historia con la cual se presentaría la explicación de la teoría de Mendel, así como el trabajo en equipo a distancia con dos diseñadores gráficos: Johan Sonestedt y Veronica Wallenberg los cuales forman parte del equipo de TED-Ed.
