Humanity+ | Elevating the Human Condition. The Extropist Examiner. The Extropist Examiner — The Extropist Manifesto. CyberSamhain Introduction. The manifestation of the sacred ontologically founds the world. - Mircea Eliade Teknos, what we do, and mythos, what we believe, together create ontos, what we are. If we are to found a new world, admit its discovery and plant our flags here, it is necessary to accept that a manifestation of the sacred (mythos) can exist within the heart of an entirely technical edifice (teknos).

Although cyberspace is constructed entirely by human hands, it is sacred, if we are at all sacred. The foundation of the world is a magickal event; the creation of a world necessarily implies the creation of a world-view, and magick is our technos developed to manipulate world-view, or rather perception of the world, and hence, reality.

Tonight we announce the imminence of the sacred within a speace most believe profane; but what are we, as beings, that we could function without the Web of beliefs that support us, even deep within the stomach of our technos? Tonight, then, we go on a journey into sacred space. Daily Prayer 2014-04-11 | Sacred Space. Awareness of the Presence of God If someone asked you to give them another word for 'God', you could use the word 'Presence', for that is what God is. When Moses asked Yahweh his name, Yahweh replied, 'I am who am' and this means 'I am present'. God is really saying, 'I shall be there for you.' God is intimately present to everything, and especially to us.

Jesus's name is Emmanuel, which means 'God is with us'. Matthew's Gospel ends with the marvellous statement: Know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. (from Finding God in All Things by Brian Grogan SJ) Body Exercise Sit in your chair, upright but comfortable, with your back supported. Close your eyes, or fix them on some point in front of you. The mind rarely leaves us long in peace to do this, but begins to demand attention with comment and questions: This is a waste of valuable time.
