First, the table is made up like a bed. I got the idea from Hostess with the Mostess from one of her baby showers. I got the duvet cover, sheet and pillowcase from IKEA all for $15.Dr. Seuss Baby Shower
the night before so we didn't have to worry about those the day of. Also parts of the food were pre-made like the salad was just a delicious Costco-made chicken salad and we added lettuce. A close up of the centerpieces, they were fish bowls from Michael's Crafts Store with red and white carnations, and those twigs that are swirled at the top with sparkles on them in red and silver. We used this blue fuzz that was found at the DOLLAR store!!! We also put some blue rocks at the bottom of the fish bowls.Money Saving and Frugal Tips
Hey Ladies! Thank you so much for your sweet comments and words of encouragement. I’m feeling much better today and ready to get back to work.pregnancy-journal_19
I had a baby a few months ago and while I was pregnant I wanted a way to remember my pregnancy so I made this pregnancy journal. I loved filling it out as my pregnancy progressed and I know that I will enjoy looking back on what pregnancy was like for me. I also think my new baby {GIRL} will love knowing what pregnancy was like for her mother. I put the pages in 8X8 page covers and then used metal rings to bind it together. I tied ribbons onto the rings. Walmart is the cheapest place for the metal rings.Thing 1 & Thing 2 Birthday!

Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party
Alandas submitted her recycled Graco baby swing by sewing a new seat and adding a toy caddy to the bottom: While the swing was drying I used the old seat to make a pattern for my new seat. The old seat completely shredded in the dryer so my first idea to just make a cover went out the door fast. I sewed a cover, which was actually rather easy contrary to my fears! I also added a toy taggy, to hold L.T.’s toys and a little bag at the bottom for wipes, diapers, etc. This was the exact baby swing I had when my older boys were babies.

Jessie, an Etsy customer contacted me a few months ago to create the party supplies for her "Pickles & Ice Cream" Baby Shower! I was really excited to design this theme, because I have been thinking about an Ice Cream invitation for awhile! Jessie sent me an inspiration board she put together and I came up with the designs from there! Lucky for us, Jessie shared some of the photos from her adorable baby shower with me to post here on my blog! She did a great job on the rest of the details! I love the tableware she picked out, in the perfect matching colors!
