Crochet Drawstring Bag. I am so glad that my blog’s migration is finally over, phew!!! After numerous sleepless nights fighting against broken links, fine tune the layout (still doing though), adding plugins, widgets, blah blah blah…. I am back to posting again, YAY!!! As promised, here is my first free pattern for the drawstring bag made from T-shirt yarn, yup, another recycle project for the environment. You can click the image below to get the free pattern link in acrobat .pdf format. Before you jump into the free pattern, below are some of the tips on how to get it done. Switching Yarn Color The beauty of T-shirt yarn is that you can make a nice adhere joint for color switching. Cut the 2 ends in slanting shape. Apply glue at a length of 1.5 inch. Wrap the outer yarn onto the inner and make it into tubular form as always.

Eyelet installation We need to have eyelets fit at the hole we made to run a draw-string. Drawstring After finish crochet the drawstring, run it through the eyelet holes. Sea Monster Amigurumi. Multi Purpose Chibi Pattern This is a multi-pattern that is a basic oval-shaped ball that comes with multiple ways of finishing it that include a cat, dog, bunny, bear, duck, mushroom, carrot or strawberry.

These work up super quick since they are so small and pretty simple, around 30 minutes from start to finish. They’re a bit over 1 inch in height and would make a great keychains or phone straps. I’ll probably be using this as the base pattern for my amigurumi workshop at Tsukino Con in February since it is shorter and simpler than the peanut animal pattern I was using before and I get many repeat con goers who may appreciate something different to work on. Finally completed, after 18 years! Well that's when I started the middle (slightly faded) part of this blanket, as a cot quilt for Jacob (now 17).

I obviously washed it a few times so that part has fused and almost 'felted' nicely. As this was the first thing I had ever crocheted, I was very fond of it and when it became clear that I wouldn't be needing it as a cot quilt again, I decided to extend it. Only problem was that, by then, I had forgotten how to crochet! So it was back to my sister Jane, the 'crochet mistress', for a re-cap. The original cot quilt squares had been made with left over Appleton's tapestry wool, which we had in abundance because my first bit of entrepreneurship was a tapestry kit business. It was very successful, we sold the kits all over the world and in all the major department stores in the UK and it is still going strong now. Beanie. Ribbed Beanie - Style 2. Crochet Ribbed Hat.
