Research Digital Promise Launches Web Tool To Find Ed Research By Dian Schaffhauser05/18/16 A new, free resource from Digital Promise aims to provide an easy way to hunt down research in education, teaching and learning topics and to uncover connections between those topics.
Digital Promise is a not-for-profit that undertakes work for accelerating innovation in education. The latest initiative, Research Map, is intended for education leaders, policymakers, students and even ed tech developers who want to read up on the latest research about a given subject. The map offers three views, chord, network (pictured) and list. The map offers three views, chord, network and list. The chord view shows each of the research topics around a circle with "chords" drawn between them. The list view is text-based. Simultaneously, the network and chord views also include two side panels, one for filtering results and the other with a list of papers or articles on the topic.
