Use Better Tools to Be a Better Student in 2010 - Note Taking - @Bradley Ringel: I know this may seem old news, 'cause it is, but when I was in school last year I told a bunch of friends in the class that I would be taking notes in Google Docs. Wordprocesser, spreadsheets, and whenever the ppt from class was uploaded I converted it into the G-ppt (if I was lucky for it to translate) and then sent out invitations to those I wanted to share my notes. Any links I needed to post, documents that needed modifying, etc, can be done by anyone in the shared list.

I tried Onenote, Evernote, and the handwritten thing, but that all seemed to lose steam and organisation as time when on. I had my computer up in class chatting with my classmates anyhow, I figured I could do both that and notetaking at the same time. As a matter of fact, I still get requests from students for access to those notes online. Dropbox worked wonders for me in the beginning.
