Sisyphus Office Exhibition, Houston 2009. on the Behance Network
"What I do at work when I'm supposed to be working" is the title of an installation created by artist David Fullarton as his contribution to an exhibition project called Sisyphus Office , based in Houston, Texas. The artists involved in the project collaborated with businesses and offices in and around Houston throughout 2009. Organized and curated by Jonn Herschend of The Thing Quarterly , the project's stated aim was to "highlight art as an integral and necessary distraction in our day to day life,... to examine the artifice that keeps us clinging to reality and distracted from the void. Sisyphus Office is about punching the clock, and then punching it againbut harder the second time.
I recently found an great article about bezier curves by Mike Kamermans. What made it extra amazing was that all the images were open-sourced, interactive files created with Processing JS . You’re able to follow the mathematics of beziers as well understand how they were executed by reading the code. His brief about calculating offset curves sparked off this concept of layering.
