The BA is organizing its Sixth International Biennial Conference, BioVisionAlexandria (BVA) 2012 from 22 to 25 April 2012 entitled "New Life Sciences: Linking Science to Society”. BVA gathers more than 1900 participants as well as two Nobel Laureates; Richard Ernst (Chemistry 1991) and Harold Kroto (Chemistry 1996), and 105 keynote speakers. One of the Conference highlights is the “Science Celebration Day” on 23 April, during which Nobel Laureates and renowned scientists will talk about the beauty and wonder of science. Preceding BVA 2012, TWAS/BVA.NXT 2012 will take place on 21 and 22 April 2012, an interactive event intended for eminent young researchers from the developing world under the theme “Scientific Innovation in the Developing World: From Theory to Practice”. Alongside BVA, the BA will also organize “BioFair@BioVisionAlexandria 2012”, giving 14 major exhibitors an opportunity to showcase their products and services to the participants. http://www.bibalex.org/English/index.aspx
